Introducing The Blog @ Monarchs

Hello everyone! I’m really excited to bring you the Monarchs Blog. It’ something we’ve had in the works for a little while and now seemed like the most appropriate time to get things rolling (see what I did there?).

Let me introduce myself. My name is Lena, I am the Executive Director at Monarchs. I also happen to be a former Monarchs Level 10 Rhythmic gymnast, gym rat as they call us (someone who grows up in the gym while either mom or dad work at the gym), and I gathered a few degrees along the way to round things out. I love this sport and this gym with my whole heart.

Gymnastics, in terms of development is outstanding (we’ll talk more about that in a blog post). It’s great for an amateur or a semi-pro alike. It’s like a perfectly balanced (can't help myself

) meal.

My hope for our blog is that you enjoy it. That you benefit somehow from what I learned along the way. And I really hope you’ll engage with me with your questions and comments.
